Here is a Photo Appreciation of a Bulova Accutron gent's wristwatch dating from 1976, virtually the last year the watch was made. This example uses the 2181 movement with date window. The case is all stainless steel with a screw ring back. It was recently obtained from a dealer in California and is a fine example with very little wear. The watch has been adjusted and worn maintains 1 + / day. It measure 34 mm diameter, 10 mm thick and 38 mm lug to lug tip. The strap width is 17mm, With strap it weighs 50 gm. The original crown is signed and the strap delivered is marked Accutron (not fitted here). |

Sadly this ingenious watch was ousted from the scene with the arrival of the Quartz
